Admission Management

In the admission module, schools will perform the admission activities in their schools and update the student's status on the RTE-MIS.

  1. In the admission module, schools will be able to see the list of students who are allotted to their school.
  2. From that view, to change the application status, the school admin needs to click on the application number and can see the whole detail of the application with an option to change the status.
  3. School admin can change the application status from allotted to Admitted / Not admitted.
  4. This depends on the student's admission status. If a student takes admission, the application moves to admit, and if the student denies, then the application moves to Not admitted.
  5. There is another scenario where a student takes admission to school but is denied to continue after that. In that situation, the school moves the application from admitted to drop out.
  6. If the school moves the application to drop out, then the school needs to collect some additional information about the student, which are -
    1. Is the student taking admission to another school?
    2. If yes, then select the name of the school (that may be from another district).
    3. Current and alternate contact number.
